This powerful moisturizer relieves eczema flare ups with the help of organic, gluten-free colloidal oatmeal. Enriched with organic calendula extract and aloe vera to further soothe and hydrate irritated skin. Plant-based emollients help lock in moisture, which keeps your skin feeling hydrated for longer and prevents future outbreaks. The light, calming scent from French lavender and clary sage essential oils can help ease frazzled feelings.
Since eczema flare ups can be triggered by food allergies it’s important to reduce potential irritants. This cream is free of gluten, soy, dairy, or nuts (except for coconut) and since we only make our products in-house there’s no risk of cross contamination.

A note from Jessica, founder of California Baby®:
The active ingredient in this cream, colloidal oatmeal, has a long history of beneficial use in dermatology with an excellent safety record and has demonstrated efficacy in protecting and relieving skin irritations such as eczema. It is also FDA approved for use to treat eczema afflicted skin.
After searching for a long time, I found a USA supplier of Colloidal Oatmeal that is not only certified organic but is also gluten-free and meets strict FDA OTC protocol. Perfect! Since eczema flare ups can be triggered by food allergies it’s important to reduce potential irritants which is why we wanted Colloidal oatmeal without gluten (gluten is a common trigger for eczema flare ups). The effects of eczema are uncomfortable for babies and grown-ups alike and this protective cream hits the bulls-eye in gentleness and hydration.
