OneTouch Ultra®2 blood glucose test strips are designed to help people living with diabetes to measure their blood sugar levels at home. How to Use OneTouch Ultra® Test Strips
Step 1: Make sure your hands are clean and dry before handling the test strip. Open the vial carefully and remove one test strip at a time.
Step 2: Insert the test strip into your OneTouch Ultra glucose monitor. The meter will turn on automatically when the test strip is inserted correctly.
Step 3: Prick your finger with a lancing device. Apply enough pressure so that a small drop of blood forms on your fingertip (about the size of the head of a pin).
Step 4: Touch and hold the end of the test strip against the drop of blood until the meter beeps.
Step 5: The meter will display your blood glucose level in as little as 5 seconds. Don't forget to record your blood sugar level in your log book. (You can buy those online directly from the manufacturer or here.)
